I was looking for something that wasn't white, this came in different colors. This is green. It has a lid and assembly is easy. Very sturdy and is taller than most hampers. Good value. It is fabric so take a warm soapy cloth to wipe clean when necessary. It has cut out handles on each side for carrying from room to room.
Due to the hamper being fabric there are some wrinkles from being folded and shipped and they have not fallen out in the month that I've had this. It was easy to assemble, maybe took ten minutes. Handles make it easy to carry and the fabric is light weight but sturdy. Looks good in our room...pardon the ugly carpet, we just moved to this home. This hamper is the grey color. We previously had a family sized hamper that was destroyed in the move. I would purchase another one of these if the manufacturer offered it in a larger size.
